Old Time Gathering Pie Contest



Enter your favorite "fruit and other pie" in 2012 Old Time Gathering Pie Contest to be held Saturday, September 22 at the Dodge County Fairgrounds.  Judging will take place at 11:00 a.m.  The contest is open to all ages (youth and adults) with judging based on appearance, crust texture, and taste.  Pre-Registration is NOT necessary.  Participants must bring their pies to the Youth Building Office by 10:00 a.m.  Cash prizes will be awarded for the top pies.
Entered pies are donated to the Old Time Gathering and used as a fund-raiser to help cover expenses.  There will be an "old fashioned" Pie Walk scheduled for 12:45 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. Remaining pies will be sold by the piece in a "Pie Social" beginning at 12:30 p.m. 

The Old Time Gathering will be at the Dodge County Fairgrounds on Saturday, September 22 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  For more information, contact Sally Schoenike, 4-H and Youth Agent, UW-Extension at 386-3790.
