Seeking Advertisers for the Dodge County Fair Book

125th Dodge County Fair was held August 15-19, 2012 The Dodge County Fair Association has openings for advertisers in the annual Dodge County Fair Book. The Fair Book is used to promote the Fair and provide open class exhibitors their information and entry forms. Also included are the daily events schedules, map of the Fairgrounds and photos of the entertainers. Books are mailed to past years open class exhibitors, available at area banks, Recheks Food Pride and Beaver Dam Piggly Wiggly. Advertising in the Dodge County Fair Book says you support local youth and community activities. John Deere Collectors Gather to Celebrate 50 Years of Mowing

The Weekend of Freedom Machines event is entirely free and open to the public Horicon, WI – John Deere collectors and enthusiasts will gather near Horicon, Wisc. to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first John Deere lawn and garden tractor from July 26-28, 2013. Sponsored by John Deere Horicon Works and Lawn & Garden Tractor Magazine, this three-day event will celebrate the 1963 John Deere model 110 lawn and garden tractor – known as the Weekend of Freedom Machine. Only 1,000 model 110’s were made in 1963, all in Horicon, Wisc. and more than 200 are expected to be on display. More than 1,000 garden tractors of all makes and models will be displayed by collectors along with a variety of lawn and garden tractor memoriabilia. Although all models of John Deere lawn and garden tractors are welcome to exhibit at this free event, the center of attention will be the 1963 model 110’s. Small Animals from throughout the area and their Owners will gather for the annual Spring Swap in the Youth Building. Buyers and sellers will line-up early at the Dodge County Fairgrounds east of Beaver Dam, WI. Trivia Night to benefit Small Animal Building

The Dodge County Small Animal Building Committee will be hosting the 2nd Annual Community Trivia Night on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Dodgeland High School. Funds raised at the trivia night will go towards finishing the Small Animal Building at the Dodge County Fairgrounds. There are several opportunities to support this great event; round sponsorship, raffle items, silent auction items and door prizes. You can even show guinea pigs at the Dodge County Fair!
